Akasha 1

The name AKASHA is derived from the cloudy natural form of untreated leather, a byproduct material. The artist Andrea took to the marbly quality of leather after visitng Tholubommalata and Tholpavakoothuleather puppetry centers. He moved away from ornamentation, instead focusing on the core essence 'Guna' of the craft: perforations, light and layers.
