Madhuvana
Madhuvana
Bhat’s drawing balances discipline and abundance, where every tree seems alive with bees and insects. The grove recalls the Vanaras’ joyful revelry after finding Sita, a moment of celebration that blurs duty and pleasure. Through this scene, Bhat turns cultivation into reverence and order into a form of play with restraint, using space to register exclusion and the social order that enforces it.
